Day-wise Itinerary
Day 1 ARRIVE HELSINKI
Welcome to Helsinki! Helsinki, Finland's southern capital, sits on a peninsula in the Gulf of Finland. Its central avenue, Mannerheimintie, is flanked by institutions including the National Museum, tracing Finnish history from the Stone Age to the present.
Upon your arrival at Helsinki Airport you will have a private transfer to the hotel. Please be informed that the standard check in time is 1500 hrs and early check in is purely on the discretion of the hotel.
Depending the time of your arrival, you can opt to explore the beauty of Helsinki by sea at sunset with unique route and awesome spirit. You will pass by near the majestic Icebreaker fleet of Finland which is parked in front of the military headquarter of Helsinki.
Also the zoo of Helsinki (Korkeasaari) is passed by.. Kaivopuisto park is Helsinki's main park for all sorts of events and people gatherings. You will pass by famous public sauna in Hernesaari called Löyly. The design of this building is unique and has been awarded internationally. You will go around Pihjalasaari. Pihlajasaari is Helsinki's Riviera with sandy beach and pretty dressing rooms. There are also restaurant, sauna and cliffs where locals and tourists spend time enjoying sun and picnic. You sail in front of Suomenlinna, which is an 18th-century sea fortress and nature area with centuries-old artillery and defensive walls, spread across 6 linked islands. There's also a brewery and several waterside restaurants. We sail in front of Vallisaari. It is located between Suomenlinna and Santahamina. The island has some ponds, and it was first known for hundreds of years as a place where sailors could take fresh water. 3-Hour Small Group Guided Evening Sailing in Front of Helsinki (Optional)

Day 2 HELSINKI HIGHLIGHTS TOUR
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today you will discover the hidden gems of the city in a half day (approx. 3 hours) tour.
The tour allows you to visit Helsinki's main attractions, including Sibelius Monument, Esplanade Park, Old Market Hall, Market square, Uspenski Orthodox Cathedral, Senate Square, Temppeliaukio/Rock Church, Havis Amanda and Helsinki Cathedral etc. along with photo stops. Your guide will share the city's stories, Finnish history and culture along the way.

Day 3 HELSINKI TO ROVANIEMI AIRPORT - (FLIGHT COST NOT INCLUDED)
Post breakfast at the hotel, you will check out from the Helsinki and proceed to the airport in a private transfer for your onward destination to Rovaniemi.
Welcome to Rovaniemi, the capital of Lapland. Rovaniemi is an urban city surrounded by arctic nature, where Lappish culture and a wide range of activities meet. In Rovaniemi you can visit Santa Claus and cross the Arctic Circle every day of the year! Upon your arrival at Ivalo airport, you will have a private transfer to the hotel selected. Check in procedures or room allocation will be as per hotel norms and discretion.
Enter the Arctic - In the Arctic, there are bigger cities than Rovaniemi, but none in direct proximity to the Arctic Circle. In Rovaniemi, the Arctic Circle runs through Santa Claus Village, located eight kilometres north of the city centre, where it is clearly marked.
Depending upon the time of arrival, enjoy a Private Traditional Lakeside Sauna with Midnight Sun (Optional Activity) For your authentic Finnish experience, sit back in the lakeside wooden sauna with the mild steam warming you up. [Duration – 3 Hrs]
Overnight in Rovaniemi (B)
Day 4 ROVANIEMI | SIGHTSEEING |
Breakfast at the hotel. Later enjoy an Excursion To Santa Claus Village. Every child knows that Santa Claus, or Joulupukki in Finnish, lives right here, in Lapland!!! He can be found in his office every day of the year and YOU can visit him!! Every day a huge number of letters arrive at Santa’s Main Post Office. Santa Claus Village is the most magical place all year round, for both children and adults alike!! There is something for everyone here. After posting letters at Santa's Post Office, you can buy gifts and souvenirs. In winter you can experience the excitement of a short safari in a sleigh pulled by reindeer or huskies, ride a sledge downhill and taste hot glöggi (mulled wine) in the Ice Bar.
OR Depending on Seasonality - You can opt for Midnight Sun & Wild Picnic by Open Fire
In the very northernmost regions of Lapland, the sun will not set down for 1 month in the summertime. The midnight sun phenomenon only occurs in the North of the Arctic Circle and South of the Antarctic Circle. During this trip, you can enjoy the midnight sun in a peaceful forest away from the city. While on the leisurely hike there will be picturesque moments to take pictures over the taiga forests. You will also have BBQ and learn the unique lifestyle in Lapland during this nature escape. There will also be good opportunities to spot some local wildlife if you are attentive and respectful of nature. [Duration - 180 minutes]
Overnight in Rovaniemi (B)
Day 5 DEPART ROVANIEMI
Breakfast at the hotel, check out formalities and free time depending on the flight back home. 3 - 4 hours prior to your departure flight you will have a private transfer to Rovaniemi Airport (B)
